"Owner is charismatic and lots of fun to talk to. The pizza was absolutely delicious, probably in my top 3 best pizzas I have ever had. It got a bit soggy after sitting around but I think that’s by virtue of the genuine Mozzarella, and even then it was delicious! I recommend the Buffalina pizza. A must stop location for food while visiting Pompeii!"

"The Best!!! Owner energetically declares his pizza “the best!” and it’s no gimmick. The best pizza I’ve had in Italy. The owner takes great pride in his work and will show off his wood over and dough flipping skills. The pizza is perfect. My son happened to be wearing a Maradona jersey and the owner loved it so much he came out from behind the counter to take a picture with him. Not a tourist trap at all. Just perfect Neapolitan pizza made by a man who loves his craft and loves sharing it with others. Truly, “The Best!”"

"This was the best pizza experience of my life. The moment we walked in, Antonio welcomed us like we were old friends. He explained to us in Italian, English and Spanish about the ordering process - we told him our pizza and drink orders, he opened some beers for us and sent us upstairs to the dining area. It’s like a hub for friends and neighbors. Every once in a while, someone would pop upstairs to say hello. Our food came out very quickly. And like Antonio will tell you, it’s The Best! Perfect dough, sauce, cheese and toppings. Exactly what you’re looking for if you hope for traditional Neapolitan style pizza. There’s no one else in this town I’d rather give my business to. It was also my birthday and I was given a small cake as a surprise which I was very touched by. Thank you so much Antonio! If ever i’m back in Pompeii, his restaurant will be my first stop."
